Welcome to the new worldof Central Heating Control

Intelligent Energy Managment System
A decade of development and operating experience has led to this fully automatic, self adjusting, maintenance free intelligent Central Heating Control.

It perfectly compliments the use of solar thermal panels to provide free domestic hot water allowing you to maximise your savings.

The Energy Management Controller carries an Energy Saving Trust Recommended label indicating it has been certified as a product that will save you money and help the environment. These products have to meet strict energy performance criteria, so you know you are getting the best for your money!

The intelligent heating management system will significantly enhance the performance of all "wet" central heating systems whether located in homes, offices, nursing homes, parish rooms, church halls and small to medium size hotels and guest houses in fact anywhere that a central heating boiler uses gas, LPG, domestic fuel oil or electricity to heat water and circulate it through a radiator system.

The Energy Management Control Unit incorporates more energy saving control features than the most modern central heating boilers and once installed will not only enhance the performance of the existing boiler but when boiler replacement becomes necessary it is there ready to do the same for the new boiler AND that new boiler will be very much cheaper to buy and install because it doesn't need to incorporate the control features that your EMC already provides. Incidentally, your EMC enables even the most modern condensing boiler to function more effectively.

For the majority of people their domestic lifestyle is as unpredictable as the weather. The simplicity of operation that your EMC brings to central heating control enables users to easily reflect changing needs at short notice. Instead of either being hidden away or being a complicated part of the boiler your Energy Management Control is a familiar, easy to use domestic appliance that provides the chosen level of comfort when wanted and instantly starts cutting costs.

What it can do For you

The Energy Management Control won't just cut the amount of gas, LPG, domestic fuel oil or electricity being used by your central heating boiler to generate an equivalent amount of warmth; it will provide you with finger tip push-button control enabling you to tailor your central heating activity to constantly changing needs.

Because it is intelligent, it knows that it doesn't make sense to use more fuel than is absolutely necessary in order to generate an equivalent amount of warmth. No surprise then that it knows exactly how to cut the amount of fuel you have been using to keep you warm and comfortable.

Features & Benefits

The Energy Management Control Unit incorporates memory retention. If the power goes off it remembers everything that it has learnt about the property, its environment and the way it is occupied up to that time and continues to add to that knowledge the instant the power is restored.

It provides pump protection by running the pump for a short period every day to avoid sludge building up and causing damage during the summer months when the heating is not required.

It provides frost protection for the property by constantly monitoring the external temperature. When the temperature falls to 0°C or below it runs the pump and, if necessary, fires up the boiler and operates the central heating system.

It automatically ensures that so long as it is connected to the electricity and the fuel supply, the central heating system will operate to provide protection for the fabric of the building against condensation and for the occupiers against hypothermia and other cold related illnesses, by preventing the temperature in the property from at any time falling below 12°C or such higher temperature, say 14°C, as is nominated by the user at the time of installation. This feature is invaluable in the case of the elderly or infirm, who might either have switched off their heating on the grounds of rising fuel bills or by mistake.
